Playgrounds & parks – 6/6 – Piraeus

Playgrounds

Piraeus, where the main port of Athens is located, includes Keratsini-Drapetsona, Korydallos, Nikaia-Agios Ioannis, Rentis, Perama and Piraeus region of course.

Therefore, if you have spare time, before embarking to your ferry and heading to our beautiful islands, lead your children to one of the playgrounds around the port.

A playground for bigger kids that has modern equipment and instruments that utilize the natural environment and the cable car. After that, I am sure they will be thrilled by the funicular next to the fountain.

In conclusion, I remind you that in each neighborhood there are many smaller playgrounds. At the islands which belong to Attica, there are also some playgrounds that you will easily find them.

Maybe one playground is around the corner, only few meters away from your hotel. If you want to suppress your children’s energy and tire them, to getting sleep easier, then choose one close to your hotel. In that way you will ave time to go for a drink with your other half. Otherwise, you can lead them to one of the largest ones and having nice playful family time under the hot sun of Greece.

Either way, we are expecting you to explore Athens with your kids and dazzled by city’s hidden gems, like the National Gardens.

Until then, ….. so long!

        Dear Fashion Style,
Thank you for being my new reader.
I hope that you’re going to love my next articles too.
Concerning my previous post about Skala Atalantis (if you are referring to that), there are many positives.
It is close to Athens, the road to reach this place is nice, it has quiet beaches and many taverns to eat local fish.
Certainly, it is a wonderful place to relax or to do sailing and hunting.
        Regards,
        Maria
